the more i see chapman the more i dont like him

he misses too many spots

just throws it hard

and i think arod is a great analyst but it definitely helps make him look great when hes sitting next to pete rose who just kind of mumbles shit and doesnt seem to know whats going on

i think fs1 thinks they have their charles barkley but they dont

rose not funny at all

I agree.Game 5 I think he was bored and didn't want to come in an 8-2 game he was throwing sliders and change ups experimenting out there cuz when he was locked in at the end of game 4 vs the giants they had no chance

But he does miss a lot and has a bunch of 3-2 counts cuz of it and has walked a few hitters. When he was on the reds you may see dude once or twice a series and he come in throwing 103 but on the cubs I've seen him pitch a lot more than I ever did and I've seen him get lined up pretty good these playoffs. That aura of invincibility has chinks in it

lol

im so tired of watching heyward bat

its beyond ridiculous

this as frustrated as ive been watching him try to hit all year

i dont hate the idea in late situations of hitting coghlan for heyward and then putting in almora but what id really like to see is zobrist in rf and contreras in lf with more regularity

Yea this

I have more confidence when travis wood or arrieta comes to the plate than heyward. It's a timing issue he's doing something that throws off his timing. He be late on everything & can't catch up to 4 seam fastballs in the heart of the plate.Joe only sticking wit him cuz of the contract they gotta adjust his hitting mechanics this off season.I wish he could work with barry bonds, griffey jr or other great lefty hitters

at the end of game 5 the ump grabbed contreras and was talking to him cuz he was woofin at him about the calls during the 9th the ump already checked him in the 9th then had some more to say after the game.He had him hemmed up for like 60 seconds then maddon walked up and the ump was like we good they was havin a passionate conversation I was rollin

yeah i seen that lmao that dude has confidence beyond his years and experience

there is also something to be said for how valuable contreras on the bench with his ability to play OF or catcher has been to maddons ability to manipulate the opponents bullpens these last two series but i honestly dont think you can play heyward or sit contreras much going forward

i think at this point id do it the opposite

go offense early and put in heyward if they have a late lead

Kyle Schwarber is playing in an arizona fall league game Tonight :o :o

The streets speculating IF the cubs beat the dodgers schwarber could DH in the world series :o
