The bulls and white sox should be doing the same thing right now.

Bulls asset = Jimmy Butler.White sox have 2 valuable assets in sale and quintana on value contracts both pitchers will net you great returns and they still would have rodon, fullmer, anderson and another future starter in spencer adams.Makes absolutely no sense the cubs sucking for 2 years and trading their vets netted them kris bryant, kyle schwarber, jake arietta, addison russell, pedro strop, kyle hendricks, justin grimm,cj edwards all these players are key contributors. If the white sox are smart they'll revisit rebuilding this winter the market will be at their advantage.

you know what it is

its jerry

firing kenny would be a start but itll always be jerry

his business model for professional sports franchise management is opposite of professional sports fandom

its clear jerry and co have very different objectives for running their business than fans do for cheering for his teams, then what players do for competing and what coaches do for coaching teams -- thats why everyone who cares about anything other then jerry bottom line hates him because the business model has nothing to do with what fans, coaches and players want

as long as he has his guys around him it matters little what the rest think just as long as they keep paying taxes and whine in a reasonably defeated tone

mookie killing shit

to think he never hit more than 15 homers in a minor league season.

he might get to 40 at this rate

He destroys the orioles at camden yards duke makin a case for AL mvp this cat a lead off hitter wit 28 hr's and has the most red sox multi hr games since jimmie foxx.Great young player I always support the brothas in mlb(except edwin jackson and la troy hawkins they sucked).Trout shouldn't be in the conversation cuz the angels trash al mvp race should be altuve and betts

totally agree. I would even vote for Josh Donaldson before Trout.

yeah mookie is fast becoming my favorite player (its still cutch out of loyalty but hes falling off)

hes got more rbis than donaldson from the lead off position lol its gonna be tough to beat out altuve though

the angels have failed trout -- hes right up there with arod in terms of performance by age 25 when discussing players of the last 20 or so years -- hed have at least 3 mvps right now if his teammates, manager and owner didnt suck

Yea me too red sox have some ridiculous young talent and potentially the best one moncada still in the minors

Angels in the same position as the white sox imo they should trade trout and get a haul

Tommy La Stella finally reported to the minors. This whole saga been weird,I read a couple stories on duke I somewhat can see where he's coming from but he should of handled it different.

Soler been killin since he came off the dl .360 ba .429 ob% 4 hr's 11 rbi's 1.189 ops need him to stay healthy and locked in

i think with the cubs huge division lead theyre going to keep rolling heyward out there

give him every chance in the world to gain some confidence heading into the playoffs

but you got to wonder if he keeps struggling like this what kind of lineup will maddon use come the playoffs

the rangers are tied for the SECOND BEST RECORD in the majors and sit 22 games over .500 with a run differential of +7

bluejays +96

red sox +113

indians +103

nats +137

cubs +206

dodgers +73

a +7 is a .500 team give or take a few games either direction -- at this pace texas will win something like 95 games by scoring 11 or 12 more runs than their opponents over 162 games -- their bullpen isnt even good theyre close to last place in almost every bullpen category except saves (ironically enough) -- theyre tied with baltimore who have zach britton whos given up just 3 earned in 50 innings this year (0.54 era)

either theyve had extremely timely hitting this year or are losing an abnormal number of blowouts while winning an abnormally low number of blowouts

i dont know but its weird

Rangers 26-8 in one run games and they've been blown out a lot they've had several lopsided losses/shutouts

He needs to be batting 8th I'm tired of them ground outs to the 2nd baseman he's pretty much an automatic out outside the occasional infield single or line drive double. It's a damn shame when I expect david ross or travis wood to get a hit before heyward.I think heyward will be a better hitter next season more up to his career averages. They showed the other day heyward gets the most fastballs in mlb 62% :# how the fuck are you getting straight heat and still can't hit? Cubs already slowly phasing montero sorry ass out the line up heyward needs to be next but his defense is too good to bench.

Contreras caught arrieta today for the 1st time since he's been up.

Lol it's baffling how kirk nieuwenheis kills the cubs but sucks vs everyone else

Kris Bryant 5-5 2 hr's 5 rbi's today 30 hr's 78 rbi's on the season bryant and rizzo gonna be top 5 mvp candidates.
