You think the older players in the NBA fought for free agency so they couldn't link up with the best teams possible?

To be a Knicks fan is to suffer, but let's rejoice. We didn't trade our picks and we did well in free agency.

Lance Thomas is getting his deal finalized, $6 million a year possibly 4 years.

Was more about money and freedom to move.

Before FA you could only be drafted & traded.

Wasn't about linking up it was about $$$ and freedom.

Freedom to link up.

I don't see this as a weak move on KD.

GS is mostly a homegrown squad who added a top FA.

It's not like 3 top 10 NBA players joined up together.

lebron fans dont see it like that........

wade was basically looked at as the best 2 guard in the league behind kobe at

the time who already had a championship ring under his belt........

back in 2010 when lebron made his choice to play with wade

tHe general consensous is them dudes were gonna be juggernauts and

possibly go 82 and 0 before they even played a game cause they were the

2 most dominant players playing with each other with the addition of bosh......

Hence the not 1 not 2 not not 4 not 5 championships speech.......

lebron thought shit would be easy.......... we all thought it would be easy

What durant did is no different than what lebron did, at the end of the day

durant is trying to win a title and his focus is not the warriors, but its beating lebron

to win that title........

As a competitor how would you feel seeing lebron the supposedly greatest player

in the nba, having the nba game on lock because his teams are overly overpowering

other teams......

the nigga dipped on wade n bosh because they run was coming to an end to team

up with a younger version with kyrie n love.........

The shit is unfair.......

durant did what he had to do to give him the best chance to win a ring.......

Nah yo, Lebron went to join a wack ass heat team, while KD joined a team that had the best record of all time, with 3 top 10 players, and probably didn't even need him to go back to the finals. I ain't mad at KD for leaving, but I can't respect his competitive drive. Lebron left for a better situation, the Cavs were ass without him; KD hopped on the bandwagon that beat his ass.

"Russ is Okc's best player, hes the alpha, Kd is the beta!"

"Kd needs Russ, hes too soft!"

"Warriors are overrated! They not better than *insert various old school team*!"

"The league is soft thats why the Warriors are successful!"

"Warriors bout to lose to San Antonio/OKC/Clippers if they meet in the playoffs!"

Warriors lose : " See i told you they overrated!! This proves their first ring was a fluke!!"

*Kd signs with Golden State*

Same niggas :"Thats not fair!!!"

Lmao. Foh

KD left for a better situation too (so did Bron when he left Miami). He knew Russ was gone. Ibaka was gone and so was his original coach. It wasn't the same OKC anyway. Russ and KD were leaving no matter what.

KD going to a team that fits him probably better than any other.

What does LBJ even have to do with anyway.

That nigga Lebron teamed up twice.

I thought you were comparing Lebron joining Miami to KD joining GS, my bad if I was mistaken. Plus you can't know for certain that Russ leaves, what if next year they win a ring? Ibaka was washed, he had to go, and are you really trying to defend Scott Brooks?? Donovan was way better than that dude. OKC in my opinion looked better than they were in the playoffs, and KD left.

Before Lebron and Bosh joined up, the Heat were either struggling to make the playoffs or getting bounced in the first round. And it for sure not a better situation when he left for CLE, they were ass the year before, and Love wasn't a sure thing to be on the team.

Nah not defending Brooks, just remember KD not being happy about it.

So, i was just saying that probably played a role.

CLE had a better outlook that Miami because Wade was looking washed and Bosh was not looking too great either (due to his role), no money to spend, etc.

CLE had Kyrie, pieces to move (Wiggins, Waiters, Bennett), cap space and the willingness to let Lebron run the show.

True, I ain't mad at KD for leaving, he his own person and should do what makes him happy, but this makes the league a lot more boring. Parity is for sure dead right now, which I think the last CBA was supposed to prevent. I think its guaranteed that there's gonna be a lockout in 2017 because of this and the cap jumping so high, which was the reason this KD junk happened in the first place.

If by "fits him probably better than any other" you mean it's the team that he could most likely get a quick championship with, then you're right. I don't see how that's any more respectable than what Lebron did though. To be clear, I thought what Lebron did with Miami was a bitch move too. What he did with Cleveland was different though.

I liked his vision dude will be a triple double machine it looks natural..browb looked ok he was a lil hesitant but i like what i saw

Man the Sixer's need a nice SG and a few years and them boys could have something because regardless of how you feel about Jahlil the young boy offensively damn near flawless for a Big man

This nigga D.Green needs to stop, Bron leaving Cleveland and Miami can both be seen objectively as 'whole hoe' moves eapecially going to Miami cause of the teams he could of joined, but what Durant did is beta male as fuck, this is coming from a Durant fan who always thought he had next after Lebron was ready to wind down.

You aint missed the playoffs, matter of fact been to how many conference finals in how many years, you had THREE CHANCES to knock off the defending champs in the conference finals after going up 3-1 in the finals, yet you CHOKED in almost all time great fashion (If the warriors wouldn't of back doored and lost in the same fashion in the finals) so instead of being that close and being like fuck it let's take em on again you RUN AND GO JOIN THE TEAM THAT MADE YOU LOOK LIKE A BETA ASS NIGGA. lmao that's the equivalent of a boxer losing a controversial split decision against a fighter and instead of being like 'fuck it run the fade again I aint lose and I aint no bitch' switching weight classes and running to the SAME PROMOTER as the other fighter so he doesn't have to worry about a fight with him again.

Lebron joined Wade and Bosh two other guys who all 3 of them INDIVIDUALLY knew they couldn't beat that Boston team, so they said fuck it we'll team up JUST LIKE THEM and see if we can do it. Miami was a first round exit team at best before Bron got therex even if Bron wouldn't have gone there Wade+Bosh wasn't beating that Boston team in 2011 or 2012 stop that shit. Bron went to a team he knew he was the best player and the ultimate X factor. Durant is going to a team with a two time MVP, an all star/all nba level second and third option and the third option is a DPOY candidate, also they have a finals MVP and former sixth man of the year/all star on the bench; a team that just made two finals appearances (winning one of them). From a competitive standpoint shit is disgusting bruh get past your Bron hate it has similarities, but that is as far as I'll push it, Miami wasn't winning two out of 4, hell maybe not even making the Finals without Bron, Golden State 98% chance was going back next season whether KD joined them or not.
