50 Cent once said in an interview that the grammys panel is decided by certain select industry heads/musicians and that who wins or loses is decided by who or what labels decide to make deals for certain artists outside of music for certain endorsements and that's why a lot of the artists running for Best New Artist get "robbed" (such was the case with Lupe Fiasco, Drake & J.Cole) or why rappers who sell well don't always win it. He was saying the labels set them up to do favors for other events and festivals in hopes to secure grammys. Hov is major so I . Artists know if they win a grammy before the actual grammys.
I'm sure Interscope will make some kind of situation happen so Kendrick will win to make his momentum grow, but who knows..
