Hov like his buddy MJ don’t belong behind the executive boards, they both have tendencies to ruin franchises (Def Jam, Wizards). And Hov also has an issue with putting himself out there before his artists. Jigga has two albums coming out soon (1 solo and with Kanye) which seemingly put his artists J-Cole and Jay Eletronica on the shelves. Hov is behaving like an old rich guy that’s on his death bed rushing to get his Will out there before he croaks, and with father time ticking on Hov it’s not so far-fetched. There’s no question Jigga is in the pantheon of all time great MC’s, but his utter disregard for promoting his protégé’s warrants him a spot on this list.
....Makes sense now that I think about it. Hov doin Cole and Jay E like Brett Favre did Tavaris Jackson and Joe Webb and Aaron Rodgers. He told them niggas ya'll aint gettin no shine while I'm still around.
