lol , u never heard this joint until yesterday? Its the intro to Nastradamus.. It might be one of Nas´weakest albums, but its still a good album..

But yea, the 2nd verse on ¨life we choose¨ is one of my favorite Nas verses of alltime..

It didn't satisfy the backpackers or the club goers. This, Project window, Come get me, etc all dope shit.

I didn't listen to nastradamous until 2008. had every nas album but that one cause everyone said it was trash. bought it one random day and ended up enjoying most of the album.

Most people that talk shit about Nastradamys never listened to it or hasn't given it a shake in over 10 years.

I'm glad Nas still performs songs from this album at his shows. 4 mic album, classic intro.

I prefer the MF DOOM version, look it up it was on one of the NastraDOOMus mixtapes. Beat is nice, chill, and jazzy. Compliments nas quite nicely.

When I got my first car in 99 I had Nastradamus and Murda Musik recorded on a tape, I had that on repeat for like 4 months straight, Nastradamus is a personal classic of mine and I couldnt believe it got bad reviews and it was considered trash it didnt make sense to me, then you hear people say "I am is dope but he fell off on Nastradamus", so Nas fell off even though it was material recorded in the same era as I am? People dont have an opinion of their own, if the general consesus is its wack then they are just going to write it off ass wack, I think Nastradamus got bad reviews more so because of the singles than the actual album, some of Nas' best work is on there

This shit actually happened years back with a friend of mine, I had a Nas mix I made and my friend never really got into Nas like that, probably never owned a Nas album and didnt think he was as good as I made him out to be, but Life we chose came on and he played it back like 3 or 4 times like damn you hear what hes saying? He did the same thing for Undying Love, take it in blood, your da man and New world, he became a Nas fan that day
