To many cacs in Austin for my liking and Dallas seem like I out grew it being that I'm f from there..

Houston more diverse and its a big city but the outer burbs is nice and the economy and housing is prolly the best in the state or its up there.

Rent = I'd say it's a push, they all pretty cheap.

Cost of living = Houston>Dallas>Austin but that's by small margins.

Going to several different places taught me that for the most part what "people say" about a place means nothing.

You can get a dope ass pad out here in Fort Worth 4 at least 100-150K. If you got hella bread I would say maybe Colleyville or Grapevine. Can get almost a mansion down her 4 a few hundred stacks

Its pretty cheap to live there as far as rent, but it also depends on what part of Austin you want live in and conveniences you want to live close to. I have been looking at apartments down there before i move next year.
