I bet everybody ITT that's saying 8ball & MJG are better than da 6, or that they are better than da 6's best rapper (Lord Infamous) never even heard most of Ball & G's best material because never use it as a point of reference. I find it funny that people that always include Ball&G as one of the best of all time (which they are) but never include some of their best work. the "on top of the world" album and everything that came after that is some sub-par shit compared to ball&G's underground mixtape shit from 91-93... As great as 8ball & MJG's early 90's material was, three 6 at their peak was superior in just about every way imaginable.... Ball&G at their peak ain't fadin' Lord Infamous lyrically when he was at his peak... that's not an opinion, THAT'S FACT! Anybody that says otherwise just dosen't have a clue as to what they're talking about, or their brain is too tiny to comprehend Lord's Lyrics...and i say this as a HUMUNGOUS 8ball & MJG fan that has heard EVERYTHING they ever released from 1991 on up, which includes some unreleased shit from the early 90's that has yet to even leak on the net.

Three 6 has a WAAAAAAAAY better overall catalog than Ball & G.

Three 6 has been more cosistent and made better music over a longer period of time

Three 6 was dropping non-stop top-notch quality music from 92-2002 and they just started to fall off over the past 5-7 years... Ball & G music has been going downhill since around '95
