My brother is going through this. His wife overate like a motherfucker during her pregnancy and nearly two years later, has yet to drop the weight. The "kid needs watching" excuse has all but dried up since our parents watch my niece most of the day and literally have shit else to do (mom works from home, dad is retired).
We're all pretty active in my fam so he's always been in shape and always been in the gym so for him its second nature to jump back in now that life has gotten a little less hectic. For her though, she just wants to sit around, watch netflix, read, and eat all day (and they both have cubicle jobs too which isn't helping smh).
He says he's tried to get her to go with him and she'll stay with it for like two weeks then fall off the wagon again. And she gets mad, hurt, and resentful when he tries to re-motivate her by saying she has some weight that could be dropped.
Meanwhile our other brother is dating this bad ass mexican chick so thats kind of salt in the wound lol....
