Tech N9ne is the absolute, pure truth. Definately one of, if not the, most slept-on m.c. of all time. The man rapped with Pac, was signed to Quincy Jones' label, and he's still considerred underground. I think signing Brotha Lynch to Strange Music was genius. "Welcome to My World" is a classic. I'm anxious to hear more of their future collaborations. "Trapped In A Psycho's Body" off of Tech's Absolute Power album is one of the greatest songs of all time, period.

I love that track man. That's some shit I can truly relate to. What I like about Tech, and I think what seperates him from other rappers, is his honesty. I've read interviews where he's said that some of his lyrics about his sexual escapades, have caused problems with him and his wife. He definately is not afraid to touch on subjects that most rappers consider taboo and will not touch, like religion and the use of drugs beyond the standard weed and alcohol. He's not for everybody, but like Brotha Lynch Hung, for me, that's part of their appeal.

I feel you, no doubt his his unusual make-up causes people to overlook him. But all I was saying was that the fact that he's over the age of 35+ isn't helping him. Not to say that an artist can't be relevant past the age of 30... Kanye, Jay-Z... But I don't think Tech N9ne will ever reach that level due to the fact that he's already 39 and dude is still underground. However, I think you could argue that he has the talent....

Good point homie, but I don't think age is as relevant as it is with some rappers when discussing Tech N9ne. What I mean is, Tech doesn't do a lotta party tracks aimed a young teenagers. Therfore, I think as long as he is physically able to perform, people will pay to see him, and he won't be makin a fool out of himself like say Soulja Boy performing his shit when he's 50 years old. Tech has a devout, core audience that has aged with him over the years, like myself, and will continue to support him as long as he keeps makin good music and speakin the truth.
