I've been a Tech fan probably ever since I heard him on Yukmouth's Thugged Out : The Albulation. I still consider AngHELLic his best album, but K.O.D. is growing on me. "Low" and "Shadows On the Road" sound like vintage Tech to me but honestly I was disappointted with the Three 6 collaboration ("Demons"). And the Brotha Lynch collab ("Strange Music Box") was not near as good as "Welcome to My World" off of Everready : The Religion. "Tormented" and "Trapped In a Psycho's Body" are probably my favorite Tech tracks.

I know what you mean about K.O.D. although its far from his best CD, it slaughters any mainstream album out at the moment with a few exceptions. Minus SMB and 1 or 2 songs its a solid album. I just wish he could come with that vintage tech shit over the production he has now.

I've liked the most of the songs I've heard from him. But because he doesn't pay off these corrupt as hell New York radio personalities at hot 97 or power 105, he will never get radio play around here.

I'm a huge fan of Tech N9ne (though due to his cult following I've found that a lot of his fans are stans) and he is one of my top 25-30 hiphop artists ever. I would say that I think Absolute Power is his best album and is one of my favorite albums ever. I think Tech has or can be argued as having the best flow in all of hiphop, and he is also one of the most diverse artist i've ever heard (though moreso earlier in his discography) All in all I would say to those who haven't to check him out, but I'd also say to listen to a few of his albums (as mentioned earlier he has some pretty diverse subject matter/concepts in his music/albums)

I'm not part of the cult, but I do check for Tech N9ne's music. I went back and eventually got a copy of every album he made. Tech N9ne is very versatile and has a good flow, like another poster said. His subject matter varies, ranging from feel good tracks about partying and sex to more deep songs addressing religion, current events and his relationship with his friends and family. Tech N9ne is what you get when you combine Ludacris, Bone, E-40, Twista and Eminem, because he sounds like those artists at times.

I was feeling Tech N9ne since his verse on the anthem. Don't like songs like "bout to Bubble" but songs like "Leave Me Alone" slap

I think anyone who doubts Tech's talent needs to listen to "Stamina" off of AngHELLic. People are always blown away the first time they hear him rap in perfect time with machine gun fire. Prozak's "Why?" ft. Tech N9ne & Twista is another classic collaboration. I always thought the Michael Jackson concept was genius for the Killer album.

worst enemy from his absolute power album is probably his best song in my opinion, only because he really shows how talented he is. alot of rappers can rap fast and twist words and shit but he did that shit and told a story, shit wuz crazy, that track is prolly my favorite next to paseo

honestly i've heard of Tech for years and years and years..but I never really ever checked deep into his shit until about a year ago or so. Cot DAMN was I sleeping on one of the illest!!!! Anghellic is an amazing piece of work, Killer too..I'm also pretty fond of a lot of the collabs on Sickology (my ringtone has been "Blown Away" for like 3 months), and honestly KOD has grown on me tremendously. Opposite of some other posters in this thread, I DO feel tracks like "Strange Music Box" and "Demons", but maybe not as much as "Hunterish" and "Show Me Your God". shouts out to all the Technicians out there! STRANGE!

I've been saying Anghellic is a classic album for years now, one of the best I have heard overall, good to read about people with me about it being classic. Tech is great, but you cannot solely rely on fans opinions with him, because as someone said he does have a cult following with "stans" that will defend anything he puts out. But everyone should give him a listen, one of the most honest rappers I have heard, thats one reason I like him.

I like Tech for a lot of reasons, but mainly because he listens to his fans and unlike most rappers, is aware of who makes up his fanbase. For years people said he should hook up with Brotha Lynch and when he did for "Welcome to My World", the result was a classic. And then he signed Lynch to Strange Music. I know he's tried to hook up with Eminem but I'm not sure why that's never happenned. D-12, minus Em, appeared on the track "She-Devil" off of Absolute Power. And I know they both appeared on "The Anthem", but I'm pretty sure they were never actually in the studio together. But I think that that's a collaboration that will happen eventually.
