Bottom line: Post Malone + the end of net neutrality = the end of hip-hop as we know it.

White people only know how to co-opt and destroy shit, wit their corny, annoying asses. Smh. Someone needs to Suge Knight Post Malone over a balcony.

Happened to jazz and the blues and rock n roll. What makes people think it won't eventually happen to hip hop?

Shit. Iono. We all have this information at our fingertips. We KNOW how black music has been exploited since the beginning of time, and we STILL are allowing it to happen, all right in front of our eyes!

One verse from Jay or Nas, Kendrick or Drake, even Em at this point, denouncing Post Malone and people like him, would effectively halt this movement. Even if it was only temporary.

Niggas don't really give a fuck at the end of the day though. All that "this is part of our culture" shit is bullshit. If niggas cared, even an iota, Post Malone wouldn't even exist. The fact that he does speaks volumes about the industry.

Dog black people have had no real say or influence on the direction of the culture since rhe late 90s. It'd be a hopeless endeavor at this point. The people you'd consider the gatekeepers that should take a stand like Jay or Nas have been ok with this. They had no problem helping to fully take the culture away from the streets and gift it to corporate jews 20 yrs ago and if they had a chance to do it again they would.

True. At the same time, like those other genres, black music has always been able to reinvent itself. That's how we got Hip-Hop. Too much soul...

If they didn't say nothing about those racist tapes by Eminem then what makes you think they'll say anything about Post Malone?

Its just like the NBA or the NFL. Its the millionaires vs the billionaires. You and I might think $200-$500 Million is a lot of money, but there's guys out there with billions of dollars that can pull the plug on a multi-millionaire.

Self preservation is the first law of nature. If you have $100 Million the first thing you want to do is make sure you don't lose any money, or lose your revenue stream. Thats why the moguls have to look the other way when somebody like Eminem or Macklemore & Ryan Lewis wins a grammy for best rapper.

Back in the 80s Professor Griff from Public Enemy tried to make a stand and make knowledge born but the jews put so much pressure on Public Enemy, Def Jam and Columbia (Def Jam's parent label) that they had to kick Professor Griff out of the group just to release their next album.
