Ok I'm at work and just dropped m car off o have the brakes done. Replace the front rotors and pads.

If the rotors are super smooth, you're good. If they're rough, they need to be changed. But you can also hear them grind when your brakes need to be changed. Either way rotors are easy to know when they need replacing and easy to change. I am not at all mechanically gifted, I just know how to do certain little jobs myself. It's cheaper, although not always easy.

I will find out this evening.....the guy went from you need new rotors to saying well I resurfaced them to buy you sometime....will be checking when I went in for my breaks it was just light squealing about 50% of the time that I would brake for the past 2 months. Like I stated....60,000 miles I figured it was time for atleast front brakes, wasnt expecting to pay rear brakes as well and then for him to tell me that I needed rotors...ive driven cars on bad brakes and never had to get new rotors...seemed fishy but shoot if everything works out with my coworkers uncle i may be paying him if he agrees for my big stuff

some of you need to get your basic car knowledge up cuz i mean you've owned/operated a vehicle for years so you might as well learn how to fix basic shit on it...........just like some of you own/use a computer and you know how to do basic fixes when shit goes wrong

Yeah this. I would if I could but I barely have time to do that type shit with work school and kids. Besides ey starting to make shit damn near impossible to do it yourself.

My cambelt snapped and caused all 16 of my valves to bend, it fucked up the hood and also blew my water pump. Went to get it serviced as soon as I could only to be told my brakes need replacing because they were wearing out (which I could see wen they showed me) + I needed new tyres coz they were close to being illegal on the road. Had it all done and bill was £1650.95

*All this during X-mas season...needless to say I didn't have a Merry Christmas.

Edit: My dude just called me said i had a bad relay and thats why my AC is not working. He said he would fix for $75 honda was gonna charge $425 smh.

they worse than these niggas here... they actually take their cars in to get bolt on like CAI's, Springs, Headers, Test Pipes,Strut Towers Bars etc put on...

they just repeat what their mechanics say...

I've run across niggas like that. Give you a long list of shit that was just done to their lil rice burner as if they did it themselves but come to find out the custom shop across town did it.
