i hate goin to the shop, i hate errands in general

back when i had a monte carlo i went to get my shit serviced, the asian guy told me i should get an asian car and i clowned him cause i think asian cars are cheaply made

literally driving home from the shop my engine locked up and my shit broke down

i still wont get an asian car tho, euro or american cars>>>>>>

how the fuck???.....he drain your oil and didnt put none back in?.......or u had to have a cracked head or a seal leak or sumn.....but the chink should have seen that shit lol....thats cold i woulda been so pissed

dude aint have nothin to do with it tho, it was just an ironic coincidence, and yeah i was pissed, the engine was flooded

but i think my plug did something to my car, he was my next door neighbor and i owed him several hundred for a long ass time

lol i told him i spent the money on my tuition and books

well damn.....yeah buddy hit u wit that paint thinner or sumn....ouch.....but what kinda nigga let somebody get hundreds in the hole?.....ya'll had to be real cool.....i had to BORROW 200 from my old plug for like a hour and i had to leave my wallet and shit lol

No nigga would let somebody do that......he was a older white guy in his mid-late thirties, always tryna help me out and put me up on game as far as how i should spend my money and keep shit quiet, tryna take a nigga snowboarding and jetskiing and shit like that but back then i was ratchet

low key i did him dirty too cause i had the money and he initially fronted me, i just didnt feel like paying him

He needed the money too, his girl just had a baby and they got evicted a few months later

I put my own brakes own shit is easy. My ac went out in my Honda last week getting that fixed today smh. I hope they don't try to break me

Cosign i do my own brakes,Changing brake pads take like 15 minutes tops the only thing. I never changed my self was an O2 sensor that shit is a pain in ass to get out on my car and my check engine light came on and I had to get my inspection done(New York state).

well damn @kush.....i woulda had to get u too

@cain got ya.....never dealt with that b4......i would be lookin @ wires and fuses next tho

to my understanding rotors last longer than brake pads correct? I ask because when I went and got my brakes....he said I needed new rotors. I told him just do the brakes....however; he later told me that he resurfaced them to hold me over

if u got it, its best to do them at the same time cuz bad rotors will wear ur new pads down fast.....i dont know what he means by resurfacing them tho.....maybe sanded them even or sumn

They have to keep you coming back, it's a golden rule. They're paid a flat rate, so let's say an alternator replacement takes 1 1/2 hrs to take out and replace but the mechanic knocks it out in 45 min - an hour, you still pay for that 1 1/2 no matter what. If a job, by the book, is said to take 4 hours but he can knock it out in 2, you still pay for that 4 hrs because it's "by the book". They abuse this, bringing in as many cars as possible and lining them up for work. So when they tell you, hey there's a problem here and there, most likely it's sort of a lie.

Their bosses push them to bill as much as they can, they have hour goals. More money. If not there's "problems" between workers and the boss man.

hmmm, I just thought he was trying to rip me off, because I couldnt understand why I would need new rotors. I didnt get them....so I will just have to see....just thought it was fishy, but like I said he resurfaced them....ive heard that term before. He said it wasnt something I needed asap in regards to the rotors. Its funny because I will talk to different people and do research and get different answers to the same questions

O2 sensors are not that bad to change in some cars. I changes them in my old Pathfinder just need a special socket.

Like what you said " not that bad to change in some cars" my car is a pain in the ass its a 2005 Lexus IS300 this bitch has 3 catalytic converters and has 6 02 sensors the one that went bad was damn near under the car that is some knuckle busting fun right there.

If the rotors are super smooth, you're good. If they're rough, they need to be changed. But you can also hear them grind when your brakes need to be changed. Either way rotors are easy to know when they need replacing and easy to change. I am not at all mechanically gifted, I just know how to do certain little jobs myself. It's cheaper, although not always easy.

this is why I get an estimate from the shop first then see what my backyard mechanic can do about it. A lot of these shops will charge you an arm and a leg for something you or backyard mechanic can do easily

i just get crackheads to work on my shit, 20 dollars to put on brakes

40 dollars and they gon fix anything, you just gotta buy the parts

I will find out this evening.....the guy went from you need new rotors to saying well I resurfaced them to buy you sometime....will be checking when I went in for my breaks it was just light squealing about 50% of the time that I would brake for the past 2 months. Like I stated....60,000 miles I figured it was time for atleast front brakes, wasnt expecting to pay rear brakes as well and then for him to tell me that I needed rotors...ive driven cars on bad brakes and never had to get new rotors...seemed fishy but shoot if everything works out with my coworkers uncle i may be paying him if he agrees for my big stuff
