1 decent album

2 average ones

and 3 godawful albums

sorry, Dretox, your god have one of the shittiest catalogs in rap....

His catalouge then is 1 of the best

Classic/Great/Execptional Albums -

The SSLP, The MMLP, The Eminem Show, Recovery

Good Album -

Relapse

You don't have to justify why you like Eminem...

If you like him you gonna think his catalogue is good, if you dont you gonna think its ass cheeks...

Relapse is Em's worst fucking album, atleast on Encore he doesn't sound like a Jamaican Leprechaun. Recovery is a pop album, the biggest singles were written by pop producers. I'll give you MMLP and MMShow, those are two good albums, SSLP only good tracks are the Dr. Dre tracks imo.

Everyone has that one album that sticks out like a sore thumb in their catalogue. Jay has BP2 (which I like personally), Nas has Nastradamus, Common has UMC, Big and Pac have... well, most of their posthumous albums. Come to think about it, Big and Pac have the shittiest catalogues out of all the GOATs if you really look at it (that's right... I said it). But that's neither here nor there.

People shit on Em in here, but he does have one of the best catalogues in hip hop. Any rapper dreams of rapping and producingon their own at a level that Em does (cept Ye on the production side). There isn't a single album where Em wasn't on his game lyrically, and I dare someone to challenge me on that. As much as I shit on Recovery, it's not even a bad album musically, just bad for Em's standards. And even Encore had some dope joints that save it from being a complete weedplate.

True shit...If Toy Soldiers and Spend Some Time weren't on there...

It's music yall it hits people different...

When Encore came out I was kinda going through some shit with a chick that made Spend Some Time stand out to me...

Beauty is in the ear of the beholder....

Are you really gonna use Lil Wayne as a example of hiphop. Do you really consider Wayne Eminem's peer skill wise? lmfao

Love the way you live, No Love,Not Afraid, etc are commercial songs. Just like how Jay-z BP3 was a commercial album, you don't see nobody calling the album a classic.

As for Kanye, no one considers Kanye a great mc or on Em's level. Just call a fucking spade a spade, admit Recovery was a blatant pop album following up the disappointment of Relapse.

So are you saying these albums were wack by standards? If that's the case, and you say Em is better than Ye, then Ye's albums are beyond trash. But that would be dumb to say, cuz skills don't necessarily make good albums. Listening to the albums objectively, and outside of the accents of Relapse and the pop sound of Recovery (which is a poor reason to call an album wack BTW), name one thing wrong with those albums.

And BP3 was wack cuz the delivery sucked. "I can make a Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can" *loses breath*... I can go for days.

I measure artist by their standards, i'm not gonna grade them and curve the grade based on what everyone else is putting out. Em is a better mc than Ye, but Ye is a better artist than Em imo so that trash argument is null and void. When i check for a Kanye album i'm not checking for crazy flows and lyricism like i would for a Eminem album, just like when i listen to a Em album i'm not listening for superb production, musical experimentation, and for him to stretch the genre.

I never said Recovery was wack, i said it was Pop. Last time i check hiphop wasn't pop, because if it was Hammer, Nelly, etc and all those big selling rappers albums would be considered classic.

BP3 is no worsre than Recovery was, you don't see any objective Jay-z fan calling it a classic like you dick riding fans do Em's music.

Good points. But if that's the case, Em still had bars in Relapse and Recovery. I honestly hate Recovery, only because it was a step down from Relapse lyrically. Yeah, it sounded like a country album, but he still had darts, albeit dull. And only delusional fans would call Recovery a classic.

And Hammer and Nelly were bad examples. They don't hold a candle to anyone lyrically. Then again, I never listened to any of their albums so it's unfair for me to say. Miseducation was a classic, and she sang through most of it. Just because it has a pop sound doesn't take away from its potential to be a classic.

IMO opinion Em does too many silly songs ( FACK, My band, rain man etc.) and it takes alot away when he includes those tracks on albums.... like someone said earlier Encore had some good ish on it but it was overshadowed by the dumb shit
