Does anyone own one? What do you use it for? I am looking at the samsung galaxy tab 7 or the nexus. My kids are in elementary school and they use ipads. I want one and i just want to keep up with the times. I was at mcdonalds play land and this infant was walking around with one.....i want a tablet too.

Infants fuckn wit tablets now

I lost

I got the IPad with the retina screen. Use it for browsing the web, playing GTA, communicating(facetime etc.) and spending money on TVs and shit I don't need.

I'm buying a nexus 7. I'll be using it mainly to read books. I have ton of PDF books. I'm also going to use it for entertainment, and business.

I'll eventually get an IPAD as well.

I rarely use mine since I have a laptop.

But tablets are GOAT when you taking a shit. Fuck a magazine, I might just start leaving mine in the bathroom.

I bought a nexus 7 for vacation, its pretty cool aside from the jelly bean flash player issue.

What flash issue? You know you can manually install Adobe Flash on it.

Yea im good now im just using another browser

Nexus is cool im gonna use it in my car after vacation

Tabs are replacing the laptop now. Laptop replacing the desktop.

Recently got the Nexus 7. Best in its class. Great price

Got a Kindle Fire HD and use it for reading books and magazines and I can take it on the go for entertainment in waiting rooms or on the road. I use it for some games and apps too.

Desktops and laptops will never bee replaced, because each one has their use. I have all 3 because of work and because I use each for different reasons. On the job in IT you need to know how to work smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops and all of the accessories that connect to them.

not even close to reality.

Laptops still don't have the power that a desktop does. Tablets still don't have the power of a laptop. The only thing tablets seem to be replacing are netbooks.

I may look into the surface pro tablet. i initially decided against it at first because of the pricing and the lack of apps in the ecosystem. but the with the new release of the bluestacks android emulator that gives me access to over 750,000 apps along with full access to ms office and the ability to install legacy applications its like the best of business and play all into one and it now might justify the price

If I can't burn CDs/DVDs I don't want it...

Sorry to break it to you but in a couple years almost no new laptop will come with a cd/dvd drive. Apple already did this with their new laptops.
