i read a probst interview he did with entertainment weekly

he was asked the qesuton about patrick and ali knowing each other before the game

according to him production didnt find out they knew each other previously until they were already cast and the tribes had been decided

he said at that point they didnt even think about changing things and it obviously didnt seem to matter

I hope that doesn't start a trend though.

breakout night for desi yesterday (even though she had a pretty complete boot edit)

now that shes survived theres potential for her to have a really compelling long term narrative

first things first

she needs to decide if joe is worth sticking with especially now that she knows he has no idol

its early in this season and i have to say its just not pulling me in as in the past

maybe im over all the different type of advantages and people that are selected to be on each season

i dont know

i will continue to watch and hope that i can be drawn in more this season but man throw me a lifeline or something

Yeah...I'm kinda eh on this season...I don't think it is bad, but it's not really good either...seems like very few of the cast are actually trying to play the game...to add insult to injury, I can't stand the one that may be doing it the best (Joe).

for me its chrissy

i dont like her and i feel like shes doing the best

she comes across as arrogant and smug — the fact that she accepted being characterized as a ‘hero’ for taking time off from her high powered finance job to have a kid tells me a lot about her mentality and inflated sense of self worth -- she seems to be reasonably intelligent but in a conniving/underhanded way that i dislike

shes going to win

i just know it

ali saying after next week previews that

‘chrissy is the liars of all liars, if she lies the way (she lied to her) the rest of the game shes gonna win’

confirms it for me

smh

I feel like she's going to win as well. And not because she's as strategic and smart as she thinks she is but because she's playing with a bunch of idiots. I fear it's going to be like Kim winning One World all over again.

And I gotta say, with Ali getting the boot... when Desi goes, I go.

word

considering that mike could flip it would be useless for desi to stick with

joe

cole

jessica

just because theyre Healers

the problem is she doesnt have an easy in with anyone in the other group so she will have to do some work to build some level of trust

i saw this happening too

which is the reason i was asking for a lifeline last week lol

schemers like ryan and chrissy dont need other schemers to get ahead in the game — they need someone who is easily controlled and can keep their enemies from winning immunity challenges — thats JP — he can win challenges but hes absolutely no threat at all to talk his way into a million dollars at the end — you just point him in the direction you want him to go and he will go

so i knew ali was getting voted out the moment her tribe lost and went to tribal after losing control of the vote last week (not that she could have done anything about it stupid survivor twists)

desi might be the prettiest survivor theyve ever had

she is stunning out there

also not in the worst spot to lay low for a bit and try to make a move later on but thats why i think she should have dropped out of the challenge sooner

(easy for me to say as a viewer) she was not in danger and winning and being too strong puts a target on peoples back

i bet desi strong showing wasnt lost on that witch chrissy

Now what am I supposed to look at when I watch this boring season?

But I can't really feel bad for any players that think they can ignore the politics and socializing and just beast through every challenge and win 1 million bucks. I don't care how good you are at sports... sooner or later they're gonna have you balancing an egg on your nose or some dumb random shit like that and you gotta have a safety net of people that don't want to vote you out.

damn man they voted out all my survivor crushes back to back to back in reverse order of attractiveness

ali then jessica then desi

even got roark before ali and she was my throwback

now i have to sit here and watch gangly dudes like ryan shirtless with his heart bursting through his chest for every immunity challenge now instead of attractiveness personified in skimpy bikinis?

*googles survivor australia season 4*

it was the right move to get desi out though

theres no way you can let her advance too far

shes so eloquent in her wordings and got a great attitude around the camp

a person like her becomes more dangerous than the loose cannon as the game proceeds
