(I'm basing this on seeing what many posters say they do for a living, school credentials, etc., etc.) The progressive mindstate that often accompanies these issues is of the middle class where we're located. I've seen some disgusting shit on multiple occasions (men groping each other, deep kissing) and I'm in red state Ohio. The fact that it's still somewhat conservative here may be the only thing that's kept me from seeing more.

But for the Cali, NY, blue state posters -- you guys are really gonna catch hell. No religious pun intended.

But still, that's not really addressing my question. My son has some years before i really need to concern myself with these things, but there are posters here with 5-10 year old children, and stuff like this will almost certainly affect them, if it hasn't already.

I've seen gay people, but I've never seen a gay couple before. Crazy I guess. But I really never see that shit. I've been in Santa Fe NM since Dec and I haven't seen 1 gay person, or flamboyant gay person cuz anybody can be gay. I just don't see it as much as other people I guess.

Can't speak for Santa fe, and even in Albuquerque I'm generally a homebody don't like parties and shit. Santa fe does have an event in September or August that's basically burning man but with a creepier fucking wicker man thing.Albuquerque there are definitely clubs downtown and some up in the east side. There are concerts, the lobo and isotope games by unm, and of course museums and bio parks and such. Santa I always viewed as a capital that shouldn't be. Albuquerque is bigger and has a much higher population. That said parts of it are terrible, either Mexican gangbangers that shoot with great abandon usually hitting children, drunks, meth, or in parts of the east side and Rio Rancho(which is a separate city but it really isn't, just a place that the rich use to distance themselves from us common folk) where if you're Brown orblack you'll be followed around in stores and the other usual shit. That said the upper west side and east side are the places a person would want to live. They are relatively peaceful compared to the south valley and the part of the west side I live on

1. Your response is purely speculative. Yes, it's based on logic, but once again, logic has a tendency to escape us when the issues have to be addressed in first person.

Got an associate in Rio Rancho. Cool dude I buy my bud from. I heard Southern and Unser is bad out there. Went to all the museums and bio parks. Clubs weak as hell, I'm not a club type person but I like dive bars and lounges. Imbibe on Tuesdays is the best thing going out there. Posh in downtown is trash. They treat black people like shit too, more so black males. been to Belen, that's where I got my first house. UNM looks boring. NM should be ashamed of itself.

It should be, its not a place people go to and stay at I think. That said I was born and raised here so I have to find some sort of silver lining. Belen is ight same with Bernalillo. I don't know what imbibe and posh is since I am a nerdy motherfucker that stays home most the time lol. The college games are ight still I think, though I never been to an actual football or basketball game where your home team isn't fucking terrible. Its layover town, but if you want peacefullness and quietness and stay outta the barrios and away from the raciest mexicans and white people it aint too bad. Though I would suggest for that going some place other than albuquerque.

Also taos and angel fire resort seem to be nice from what I hear. And the mountains always look amazing in fall and winter months. Hunting is decent from what I hear from a few old friends if thats the type of shit you're into. Aside from the Balloon Fiesta, NM is best for outdoor related shit I personally believe. Though of course there are states that do that better also.
