I hate that he looked like a norman human and he was a brit. its like someone said a few years back about arrow and flash these shows have a dawsons creek type vibe but that applies to smallville more than anything.

Never read the comics, but on the original Justice League cartoon from back in the day he had to actually say it..........not write it or punch in some codes that spelled it out.
I thought it was pretty clever the way they pulled it off. Don't want everything to be cannon. It was a nice little change.
