This and that Busta were EVERYWHERE and the videos were in rotation damn near every few minutes on MTV. Benjamins is still a monster too.

97. The year I first showed up in this world. Doctor called me out talm bout "Baaaaaaddddd Booooyyyyy. Come out and plaaaayyy."

I was living in NYC during the summer of 97. Puffy and Bad Boy had the radio on lock but "Put Ya Hands Where My Eyes Could See" was devastating to the ear.

Another song that deserves a mention was "De Ja Vu" - Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz. You have no idea what that song was like unless you've been in a party in New York when that song drops.

Mo Money Mo Problems, you couldn't walk 10 minutes without hearing that song back then....classic, beautiful days of hip-hop, 1997 was one of the greatest years in rap history. I miss those days....

Close second is Wu-Tang's Triumph and probably All About The Benjamins

Though there were bigger songs and Puff had the number one spot, I gotta go with Triumph. For me, it aged really well.
