I view it as not trying to be in control of everything. My belief is that a man is in charge, and a woman needs to not interfere with that. If she wanna run shit she need to stay her ass single.

With that said, I don't think it's a "I'm the boss and you ain't shit" type of deal. A man should respect, love and protect his woman. Listen to her and consider her opinion (ain't no nigga always right) and trust that she won't tell him no bullshit. But still a man is the head.
