So, no disciplinary actions against the teacher. Bitch trying to Jam kids up by lowering their grades and basically saying their voices don't matter.

FOH. That teacher deserves to be fired. Instead of taking that time to address issues\views the child has by bringing them to an open forum for discussion this bitch decided to teach by attempting to fail? FOH

This is why whites and immigrants don't respect others. They aren't taught to respect the views of others. It's either all WHITE or it's all wrong.

They don't want a free nation ..they want a “do as we say" country

Francis Scott was a bitter racist and we honor him by singing his hateful song. W/O regard to what it means to native Americans and black Americans

Cac ass teacher

If u cant understand why a native american would sit out the pledge of allegiance

Having the nerve to tell em its disrespectful knowing the shit they went through

I can just imagine how rigid she is a teacher.

Fire that ho

The American educational system is, and always has been about indoctrination.

They spoon-feed this propaganda while schoolchildren's minds are still malleable.

They want all minorities to "stop resisting!!" And submit to the very flag that they oppressed us with.

Foh.

They think by taking the third part out of the song changes the context of what he meant.

No the fuck it does not.

It's not and the teacher should be fired for this conduct.

West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943), is a decision by the Supreme Court of the United States holding that the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution protected students from being forced to salute the American flag and say the Pledge of Allegiance in school. The Court's 6-3 opinion, delivered by Justice Robert H. Jackson, is remembered for its forceful defense of free speech and constitutional rights generally as being placed "beyond the reach of majorities and officials."
