I know i aint the only one who saw that cuz that shit got big and it cant be my memory messing with me either i know somebody saw that shit. Prolly just ended up being the announcement of Up In Smoke Tour or some shit lol.

lol this thread is funny as fuck

but yo i did think that rappers were some of the hardest ppl ever, talking bout killing ppl 1000 times, fucking chicks in the ass since they were six and a half and responsible for almost all the drugs

i thought that they were responsible for the crime rate

i thought eminem was just a goofy ass, spoof white kid that made creative videos

I thought death row was like evil and shit lol

i thought 2pac was just an average rapper, never knew y ppl like him so much until much later

i thought puffy was a dancer that was being paid to make ad-libs and shit over bigs tracks

I thought the video Big Pimpin was the illest shit ever and I wanted to be a rapper right when i saw it

I thought G-Unit really was a gang

i'll think of some more later

I thought to be a rapper you first had to put some kind of work in N the streets

I even thought the fugees video for the score was showing how they really was haitian drug dealers

I used to think Nas was really like some kind of mystic prophet

I thought the Wu tang clan's slang was coded messages for black god wisdom. but I still chose not to listen to them back in the 90's.

I thought that down south rappers was all about gettin they shine on, up north east rappers was about organized hustling and mathmatics, and I thought the westcoast was straight up banging and retaliation due to the way I interpreted the music when I was younger.

I thought Eazy-E was the trillest nigga who ever lived

I thought NYC was like a post-apocalyptic warzone cause back in the early 90's all the east coast videos were gritty & dark, wit niggas 40 deep holding baseball bats and wearing winter gear, standing around fires like bums

for a while i was confused where Lil Jon was from because of "& The Eastside Boys". didn't get it until i went to atlanta lol

when i was a lil one my big brothers told me all rappers had to murk somebody lol... i was bout 5 they was 7 & 9...trippin

Thought Puffy was Ill, from Ill Al Skratch.

For like a day I thought Aaliyah and Mona Lisa were the same person.

Thought Rakim was always pissed because he was always about business in his videos, never smiled.

Me and my cousin always hated on Kriss Kross but really just wanted to be them on the low.

I used to get told the same thing by older dudes in my hood, how spice1 was a real ass killer, how D.O.C. got shot in the neck by some cops which fucked his voice up,

I know even in my small city you didn't even get respected as a local rapper if you weren't known for some kinda street shit back in them days.
