I didn't watch WCW much at the time but I was well aware of who Sting, Flair and Vader were.

Looking back at "surfer" Sting he was getting HUGE pops. Dude was a good worker too, his ring work actually fell off as the crow Sting.

Crow sting was wack compared to colorful sting. Not as energetic. That hiding in the rafter shit was weak. But I will say they flipped Stings character in a way a face could remain good without being over shadowed by a heel I.E. Bret Hart.

That's not surprising, but what is is that Bootista is only 45 and older than Triple H (44). It's crazy too off the fact that we've known Triple H since the Bluebloods in WCW and known about Batista since he was the muscle for Reverend Devon.

This..... they put him with the 4 horseman and still couldn't turn him heel so they had to kick him out and gave him his own stable, the Dudes with Attitudes (how vanilla is that shit). Dude was beyond over without winning every single damn match. Everybody knows about the sting/flair fued, I suggest the sting/vader fued to get a little more insight into blond box hair cut sting.

Just from the comments here, I didn't realize how significant crow sting was, wcw really couldn't fail back then.
