bruh my point here is we all got our beliefs, i happen to believe in the adam and eve theory ya feel me. if we evolved all this time and are more advanced than ever why arent we interbreeding with other species today? why are we the only advanced specie on this earth? or why arent we evolving into sumthin else? these r just my thoughts tho but jus as much as nonbelievers say da bible produce no evidence, theories dont either, they jus suggest what happened, it dont make it true. now im not sayin nothin in science can be tested and proven, that would be a lie, BUT most the shit i hear used to counter arguments of believers of God arent.

I did not bother to watch this fuckin video until a minute ago.

And don't get me wrong: It's 99% bullshit.

It's on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, which begs faithful Christians to donate money every hour. Does an all-powerful god need money? No, of course not.

But I like standup comedy and I know Harvey made his bones as a comic, so I took a listen.

And for the first two minutes, Harvey bullshits.

But at exactly 2:04, he starts to break down. He doesn't have tears for dear Jesus. He doesn't have tears for the glory of "god."

No, he starts crying... a 50+ year old man starts crying because he recalls that his mom used to talk about grace and mercy. And he feels that he has nobody to talk to about his real thoughts in his late adult life now.

I would like to think that he's faking it, honestly. I would.

But I read up real quick on Steve Harvey, and YEAH, he's done some shit. He's been a shitty guy, sometimes. But if you check him out, you find out he's born in West Virginia. That's practically a cultural death sentence in the US. His old man was a fucking coal miner.

Then he moves to Cleveland. Well, fuck that shit.

But he graduates from a University, he fuckin BOXES, sells insurance, and delivers fuckin mail for odd jobs.

Finally, he figures out that he can work an audience and decides to be a standup comic.

Now, I don't think he's funny, but obviously some people do and his career finally fucking takes off.

And if you look at all the famous standup comics, you notice that they're all tragically misunderstood and alienated figures. Harvey can't fuckin act, so when you look in his eyes when he's bawling like a bitch, you can tell he can't help it.

I love Steve Harvey.

GOAT post right here. I'm far from an athiest, but it amazes me how niggas approach religion these days. There is NO way to unequivocally, beyond a shadow of a doubt PROVE that there is a God. So if an athiest asks you 'How do you know there is a God?' and you start trying to plead your case and pass it off as 'facts', you've already lost. Faith is a strong thing and it's a good enough answer to that question. Niggas like Steve Harvey are doing a disservice to people who DO believe in God. By alienating the very people that he should be trying to reach.

Two things I usually don't get into debates about are race and religion. so Ima shut the fuck up now. Lol

I hate when people say this. Maybe God isn't exactly a "magical man in the sky" maybe God is really just an idea or what not for a series of events that made all of this possible. Or maybe God is just pure creation. But point blank period you couldn't be that much of an idiot to say all of that there isn't a such thing as a Creator. I'm not exactly sure what to believe in all honesty however there's also the fact that if you're a religious person every religion has it's higher power that created us. But if you believe in a Creator and that everything had to be created by that Creator you must also understand that in order for that to happen the Creator itself had to be created and or the series of events that created this had to be created also...Basically it would never end so shut the fuck up with these arguments with absolutely no right or wrong answer.

Atheists generally believe in things that are supported by evidence (of various kinds, not just material evidence) and logic.

Religious people believe in Bronze Age myths which were created by illiterate desert-dwelling nomads from the ass end of the Middle East.
