Go Figure, the Bible describes murder as a sin but then God orders people to commit a lot of murders. It's okay when God commands it, by this logic.

So, since you are firm in your faith, if God issued you a command to perform a certain sin, would you obey that command?

For example, since the Bible says that all sins are equal, let's replace murder with gay sex.

If God himself commanded you to take a dick in your ass, would you disobey your Lord?

lol if God commands you to do anything, it cannot be a sin because u are obeying a command. God is the supreme authority, he makes the rules, in the case of these 'genocides', again, he wasnt commanding these ppl to be killed just to see sum blood, these ppl he had killed were threatening his promised people, who at the time, were the only ones living by His will. again, they were all evil in all ways. God saw no good in them, and in those that he saw good in, he saved them amongst a whole city of nothing but sin. therefore, he is just. and i would not see a reason for him to command me what u suggest, thats jus retarded bro. and its not like these ppl just became sinful overnite, this is generations of shit gettin worse n worse.

besides, doesnt the president give pardons? its not exactly the same thing, but u shud get the point im tryna make. u can commit a crime, but if the president gives u a pardon u are free to go. i hear no one bitchin n moanin about this?

and another thing, all sins ARE the same. for ppl to go n protest that God hates gays and that theyre going to burn in hell for living a sinful lifestyle...guess what, a prostitute, drug dealer, thief, liar, or any average joe who do everything but pay attention to God is living a sinful lifestyle as well.

But that brings it back to How was God created?........ And like I said if your response is "He just is" or "He created himself" etc. why couldn't that same answer be applied to space or any other force? Not tryin to throw shots at you, but explain why it has to be God? It just seems unreasonable to throw "God" in tha picture when there's other things that could have happened which can be be explained atleast to some extent.

as i've said, God created time and space, therefore he exists OUTSIDE of time and space which is what makes him omniscient, omnipresent, infinite and such. he has no beginning, therefore he was not created.

Abraham didn't understand why God told him to kill his son, but he was going to obey anyway.

You don't understand why God would order you to have gay sex with a man, but would you disobey a direct order from God?

Okay, so would you do it or not?

being that the bible is all said n done and written and all the rules are established, God would have no need to command someone to do something outside of what the Bible has told us. back when he was commanding ppl to kill, the laws were not yet fully established and they were all within reason of preserving holiness. gay sex does not preserve holiness. u jus on sum bullshit now.

Almost everybody in Christianity would disagree with you about that.

Nat Turner said he received a revelation and was told to free himself and other slaves.

Martin Luther King said he was trying to obey the commands of God.

Thousands of Christians have said that they hear the voice of the Lord (metaphorically or literally in some cases) and try to obey.

So if God commanded you to do something that's normally sinful, would you disobey?

But if God is "omniscient, omnipresent, infinite and such" then why couldn't space be "omniscient, omnipresent, infinite and such". You're not being realistic. There is no evidence of a God, but there's plenty of evidence of Space. There's no proof to what you're saying, there is however plenty of proof to tha other theories.

ur examples are meaningless. when did they say that God told them to do something that is considered sinful?

my point is now we have the Bible in its full word that we may be guided by. this does not mean God will not guide us and ONLY the book will. and again, what he commanded the israelites to do, which was something sinful, was to PRESERVE holiness. homosexuality can IN NO WAY preserve holiness.

Wow, MLK is meaningless now?

I'ma call Al and have him boycott your posts.

Are you claiming to understand the mind of God now?

Abraham didn't understand how killing his own kid could preserve holiness, but he was prepared to do it anyway.

God isn't even asking you to kill anybody. Well, some sperms, I guess.

You would disobey, wouldn't you? Your faith is a joke.

of course there is proof of space, how else can we be here? just because there is proof of it, does not give proof that God does not exist. we are proving his works but calling it humans' truths because we discovered it, when he already knew it was there, he created it!! the same elements that are contained in space, r found in our planet, and r the same exact things humans need to survive. do u understand how the human body works? everything functions perfectly. if ONE little thing wasnt where it was supposed to be we would die. science can tell us HOW our body works, but why does this shit work so well in the midst of chaos outside in space?

cardiac arrest, brain aneurisms, liver failure, Lou Gherig's disease, mental retardation, physical malformation in the womb, cervical cancer, blindness, deafness, etc. etc. etc.

I guess you have never heard of these things. You seem to have not heard of a lot of things.

ur examples r meaningless b/c they dont give examples of modern day man committing a sinful act that God commanded them to do. twistin words around again i see?

the bible is what helps us to understand God u moron. it doesnt mean we can understand everything, but that he is just, and that he is a good God and he will provide as long as u follow him in his ways among other things.

what ur tryna do isnt working or proving anything, but im sure u will be quoted with a lot of support from ur lil internet friends

I could have given the examples of people who did commit murder and worse because they claimed God ordered it, but I knew you would not accept them.

Hitler is the best example. From chapter one of Mein Kampf: "I am doing God's will."

the bible is what helps us to understand God u moron.
The Bible is a collection of many books and even some letters that councils of men in Rome and Constantinople decided would be canon.

So if God ordered you to do something usually considered a sin, would you obey or not? Let's take the gay thing out of the equation, since it bothers you so much. If God ordered you to kill a person, would you obey? Let's say they're a very wicked person. A pedophile rapist, perhaps.

Would you disobey a direct order from your Lord?

I have noticed that a lot of religious people do not seem to know what context is or what it really means to take something out of its original context, but you have learned to parrot this complaint.

Humans can lose a kidney and live. We can lose a lung and live.... You're missing my main point though. There is no proof that God exists. Your 'proof' is "we're here, so he must be there". What I'm saying is if God has always been here, thus he needed no creation, then why can't that same idea be applied to space instead. I'm pretty open minded, I can accept that maybe God does exist... But I think it's unlikely. So explain - If God can just exist without creation then why can't space exist without creation as well aka without God existing?

u need to understand the old testament. God did things a little differently back then. he was more hands-on and present back then. present as in giving direct commands and creating covenants n such. with the birth and sacrifice of jesus, he no longer does things the same. all are now saved thru jesus. i cud be wrong, but i dont believe he was ordering anyone to commit a sin in the new testament either. why? because jesus fulfilled the law so it is complete. we follow the law in the bible, and let God enter our hearts, that is how we obey him now.

Notice the "if" there. I'm not saying this is happening in real life. It's a hypothetical. I'm sure you understand.
