Hopefully we can have a thoroughly intellient conversation in this thread. I think we should start with a post of the speech. And then us debating on it part by part.

Barrack: We need to create bipartisanship

2 minutes later

Barrack: Fuck Bush

LOL

Goes to show you people will hear what they want even if it's clearly not what was being said.

...I still laughed though.

Obama delivered a great speech that reminded us why we voted for him. He made Republicans look silly and outdated, especially when he reminded America he has ALREADY given a tax cut to 95% of Americans. More tax cuts are not going to solve the economic crisis, only investment and fiscal discipline will. As well as innovation....I give the speech a solid B+. I would have given it an A+ if he said he was going to legalize marijuana to boost up the economy and would take all our troops from Afghanistan within 6 months. Otherwise, good speech.

Watching Republicans not applaud Tax Cuts was worrying. Possible sign of the Apocalypse.

I thought it was great. If the democrats decide to grow some balls and go on the offensive republicans not standing for Tax Cuts and for gettng tougher on the big banks will be a godsend for any democratic attack ad in the future.

"...blah blah blah...who's REALLY on your side?"

But I'm sure democrats wont do it and get fucked over in the midterms smh

Come on man, tell me how those tax cuts improved your life? I didnt even see that shit.

I couldn't even watch this bullshit. I used to respect Obama even though I disagreed with him on a lot of things. But I just dont believe anything he says (or any politician for that matter). It's all bullshit. This shit is like reality tv funded by the tax payer.
