When Grey Goose dropped he was signed to Cash Money under the name All$tar...he paid baby 250k cash to get outta his contract and had to change his name to Starlito for legal reasons

Then he dropped SW3...this was like 2011-2012 i believe

sent bout 4 or 5, cuz I thought if I jus send 1 & he didn't like it no point

he emailed me me bout 2 months later sayin he used the pink floyd beat & what did I want the credits to say

of course I said "BRIAN B."

so before the tape dropped, he put out the cover

& I see my name twice & I'm like hol up, typo? or he he use the Faze-O sample too (you kno the one, from EPMD, Ghostface, etc.)

the rest is history as they say

I had the exact same thing happened to me, told this story before, had a chance to work with my favorite artist XV, he wanted me to sample something for him at the time, unfortunately that same night my computer crashed and died smh.

Didn't help that he disappeared, but just to be acknowledged and have your favorite artist say your music is fucking dope, after they worked with Just Blaze, J Cole, Boi1da​, Kendrick Lamar, etc it meant alot and is one of the reasons why I STILL go today. The rest is politics and marketing which I suck at lol.
