I don't understand why threads keep getting made about her. She's shown her colors a long time ago. Stop giving her attention and she will go away....

It's bad enough she gets the tv platform.... Don't give her additional press on the internet. She doesn't deserve the ear/views.

when was the last time you watched bet? it's nowhere the same as it was then... and not talking about being ratchet either.... and yes black history should be celebrated by US 365... but having other races acknowledge our contributions once a year is something we should be proud of... think about it there are plenty of other "months" that acknowledge things during the year and none of them even get half the attention black history month does...

15? Nah it started way before 2001...with that said though as I stated in another thread BET the past 2 years has had a significant change in their content. What VH1 is now with those dumb reality shows with people fighting every 30 seconds when they not being a smut is 10x worse than what BET has been.

i hope u do know, there's a Latino heritage month. it's the month right after black history month.

the NBA has this whole noche latino night. they play latin music, certain teams wear Spanish uniforms, the whole 9 in the whole month of march.

don't nobody say nothing about LAtino Heritage month .

yet, everybody wants to get rid of black history month, why??????????

although BET ain't what it used to be. it still serves it's purpose.

the BET awards is the only award show that caters to BLK entertainment, and they've improve over the past 4 -5 years. in fact for the past 3-4 years, it's the highest rated music award show on cable.

so u wanna Get rid of BET for what? so we can start begging MTV for awards?

what purpose does the getting rid of BET, serve for blk entertainers? who barley get a platform in other places???

ppl like Kanye West n Chris Brown owe their careers to BET...

Hispanic Heritage Month ain't in March it's Sept 15- Oct 15. Those NBA teams do the Spanish jerseys year round in markets with large Latino populations. Think about the teams you see do it. Miami, LA, Phoenix Suns, NY Knicks...all

you are right. i got the months mixed up because, in March, the NBA has their own unofficial hispanic heritage month, where they show love in the whole month of march, to the hispanic community...
