I don't think Tara's gonna last.

Gemma's a trainwreck, but she's still a good grandmother.

I know Tara's just looking after her boys, but that was some grimey shit she pulled.

Judging by next week's preview, it's probably gonna catch up with her at some point during the season.

I'm just curious. Is there a reason why don't want any blacks in the MC, but are cool with Mexicans being in?

Because it was in the Charter laws dating back to the 60's.

Keep in mind the Sons are based off of The Hell's Angels. They don't like black people.

Just did some searching and Sutterlin actually addressed it.

There seems to be some confusion about Juice's discomfort and fear regarding the discovery of his black father. This is a racial reality in outlaw motorcycle clubs. We've touched on the issue lightly over the first three seasons of SOA. The fact is that most of the bigger MC's do not have African American members. There are black clubs and there are white (Caucasian, Latino, Asian) clubs. Most live in harmony. HA and the East Bay Dragons have been friends for decades. That relationship inspired the Grim Bastards in season 3. We delve into the delicate why's and how's of this racial bi-law later in the season, but it was one of those odd, historical barriers that I've wanted to explore. It's a throwback to a different era that is still in practice today. I can honestly say that none of the guys I know in the life are racist, yet they function within a structure that is built upon a form of segregation. To me, that's fascinating and fertile story turf. The depth and weight of this rule varies from club to club and this season we see how it's handled by the Sons of Anarchy.

So I guess the rules were made when the country was segregated and they never bothered change them. It's also interesting that there is a real life inspiration for the Grim Bastards.

Are you sure it's Hells Angels? I thought it was Sons Of Silence? I could be wrong.

There are a couple of Gangland episodes on YouTube about Hell's Angels. One of the episodes had a former prospect explaining they didn't like black people across the street from their club unless they are hookers. Look it up.

Well shit don't mean anything lol you think Hells angels is the only racist MC?

Last nights episode was great. The whole child porn part was disturbing but I love how Jax shot that sick bitch in the head. I actually thought he was gonna just pistol whip her .

And fuck Tara ....she won't get away with this. Hopefully Jax didn't sign divorce papers.....I mean who signs stuff about their kids without reading it ????

Looking forward to next weeks episode

MCs like that have multiple chapters though. The Oakland HAs apparently have a longstanding friendship with the black MCs in the area, so I guess you have to take it on a case by case basis.

And I like the Gangland show, but I think some of those people on there says some of that shit just to be dramatic.
