As good as the franchise was, Mario is a wack and generic character. Sonic was much better, better design, and actually had a personality. Mario is the better franchise, but Sonic i the better character. Anyway as far as 3D platforming, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank >>>>>>>>>

Yeah after the Genesis I was done with Sonic. Its the same with Mario after the SNES, but Nintendo knew how to promote better. I still don't fuck with the 3D Mario games.

Sonic 2 for Genesis was the first Sonic game i beat out the Sonic titles.

Metal/Robo was a beast
