Major co-sign, Ain't no such thing as halfway crooks...

Shook Ones hit #59 on the Hot 100, i'll be damned if a Hip-Hop song this hardcore will be widely accepted by the mainstream again

Big fan of Mobb Deep's early work.

I think one thing that artists like Mobb Deep should look at (that is, those artists that used to be big back in the day but are now struggling to sell a lot of records) is making music similar to the style that got them famous in the first place.

For Mobb Deep, that would be making that raw and grimey 90's NY street vibe music. Even if the commercial public doesn't buy into it, they couldn't sell less than what they otherwise would, and at least the hardcore hiphop fans would be feeling it and buy the album.

By the way, is there an introduction thread anywhere? Signed up to this forum ages ago and feel like becoming an active member now. Let me know!

Its even more amazing considering the lengths they went through to make this beat. Who would think of lifting this, changing the pitch and chopping this up to make that beat!

What.....?

You can't be serious man.

What would be better for blacks: if people who got shot or whatever gave up the street life and tried to turn their lives around or if they continued doing what they were doing?

It's obvious that it be better if they quit the street life.

These two negros (like most rappers) don't give a damn about blacks.
