Tough to say man... Eminem is a battle rapper 95% of the names mentioned are not. The only 3 who could be viable candidates are Nas, G Rap and Andre 3000. You would need a battle rapper to beat Em. Niggas don't like Eminem but you have to realize he really is at heart a battle rapper, that's why he works so hard on the technical aspect and like MOST battle rappers he's not entirely the best at penning songs so it's understandable that some of yall can't find tracks yall really like on repeat. That's where Dr.Dre comes into play tho.

I said Jay as in Jay Z can hang with Elect and Nas. He may have a small sample size but its no doubt that Electronica can rap. I used him because most consider Jay as washed but he gotta out of bed for Electronica, twice. That means something because Jay gets by a lot on rep.

Jay's verse on Renegade is dope... I like it more than Em's because there was nothing to decipher in Em's... it's too literal and comical, and that's where the single listen comments come from...

At the same time Lupe is too cryptic... he may have then best punchlines and entendres if you dig deep enough but then your songs better slap if it takes that many listens to figure out wtf you're talking bout... to me his best music is the simplest...
