The real problem with this fight is, Zimmerman, a self-proclaimed child murderer is being labeled a celebrity solely because of his murder case. Because of this, the fight is a mockery of TM's death and the justice system as a whole.

I respect your opinion on addressing the situation "correctly," but I do want to make sure people see the petition at least to bring attention to how many people are out there, like you and me, who don't want this fight to go forward for whatever reason. Black people generally take a very individualistic approach to everything and diffuse our united voice on issues. That is why we have no real agenda and can never garner attention to our causes. So even if you don't sign the petition (which granted will have a limited, if any, impact) I implore you to do something to add to the public knowing that you don't want the fight to go forward. I, like you, and many people are super busy so I know starting a movement may be a bit too demanding on your limited time, so thats why I put this already made ready to go petition up, so people with limited time can direct their feelings to actually doing something even if its just signing a "flawed" (in your opinion) petition.
