there is no opinion involved. there's nothing to sell if you just watch the games and read the stats. a team is either good or bad, they win or lose. they're a playoff threat or not. Division champs with a bye in the playoffs or not. cope with it.
and being in/from Chicago don't mean shit i bet there's millions of people in the area that don't know shit about football and only casually follow the team.
people still hating aren't making any sense the shit is getting real silly at this point. let me ask what are you not sold on exactly? point to some numbers. what is this prediction you still hold on to? make a concrete prediction and stick with it. so we're at the point now the Bears will lose in the playoffs is that it? so essentially that's all you got left is that they won't win the Super Bowl? shit is funny to me, first it was they won't have a winning season, then it was they won't get to the playoffs, then they won't win the division, then they won't beat any 'real' teams and now surely they will lose in the playoffs. with this logic you're always gonna be right as long as you can keep switchin up your opinion, problem with that is you kill any credibility your opinion might have once had.
Like I said in the Falcons threads -- they're waiting on ESPN/NFL Network or Madden to "tell" them who's good and who ain't.
Let's face it, the sports media is no different than the political media -- CNN, Fox News had a bunch of retards thinking Obama was trying to killing everybody's grandma last year, and the Sports media got everybody thinking the Eagles and the Patriots are the only two teams that should bother showing up to the playoffs this year, when in fact, the "expected" teams hardly ever live up to those expectations.
I like it though. Makes it even sweeter when that underdog team proves everybody wrong.
I honestly don't think the Bears will win more than one playoff game, and that's based on Cutler having a tendency to fall into "interception comas" and the Bears front seven is always either the best in the league or looking like the worst. But there's NOTHING that the Bears could do this year that would surprise me. If they get blown out in their first playoff game -- not surprised. If they make it to Dallas in February -- not surprised.
Casual fans gravitate toward "stories" and hype. The Bears and the Falcons have no "story".
These niggas on the CS are like little white girls that want daddy to read them a bed time story and tuck them in at night. And the Patriots, Saints, and Eagles do that for these niggas. Teams like the Bears, Falcons, Chiefs, just say -- "Bitch, go to sleep." And that's it. lol
