My friend is a stock broker, he's been discussing stocks with me, he's made a total of around $5000 over a few year period, after investing $13,000, but he lost $3000 due to a bad investment that he wasn't feeling at the time but was pushed on him by a friend at work (who he now hates lol!) He's made a profit of around $2000 though, which isn't that bad for a few years… although I know it's not earth-shattering, it's better than a loss!
I was thinking of getting into stocks, so just checking in…
