So when is hip hop gonna admit that Kanye West ended 50 Cent's career?

But you said his catalog is terrible and that would include his mixtapes. 50 has had mixtapes that are better and have sold better than most artist albums.

Unlike you new jacks, I don't include mixtapes as apart of one's discography.

But that's what I'm sayin who can you compare 50 Cent to? If this nigga drops mixtape after mixtape that goes platinum and then drops 3 straight multi platinum albums what other artist can stack up? Even artist like Wayne who went on a run from 2006-2008 of multiple mixtapes doesn't have the catalog to stack up with 50. You have to include mixtapes into a rappers catalog to sum degree especially when his mixtapes are doing better than most artist actual albums right?

Yeah, he definitely made some bad moves.

Fucked up by not having Dre produce all of his albums.

Then he put out another CD too soon after Massacre dropped.

Should've taken a couple of years off after that, built up a buzz, and then just dropped an album.

No singles, no videos, nothing until after the album drops.

he fucked up by being a bitter fakket

he fucked up by makin pop music & the same soft shit he was dissin ja rule for

he fucked up cause his music is forgettable trash

he fucked up by hating & starting beefs for no reason

he fucked up by being a swaggaless munkey who can't dress.

thats sums up how he fucked up

50 fucked up his own career. The dude who said that before was right.

The Kanye beef helped him by getting him more sales. Anyone who thinks that beef was real is really stupid.

PS: BISD is his second best album.

do you guys realize hoe much material 50 released between 2002 and 2005

mixtapes: guess who's back, 50 cent is the future, no fear no mercy, god's plan, automatic gunfire, bullet proof

there were 25 volumes of g-unit radio mixtape as well

he realeased get rich and massacre but he also released the get rich soundtrack for the movie which was pretty much another 50 album

It's 2011, and people still don't know the Kanye vs. 50 thing was a marketing ploy that both artists admitted to?

Those Straight to the Bank and Amusement Park singles help put a fork in 50's career. Those songs were lazy as fuck. 50 thought he could grab a couple club beats lying around the house, and then copy and paste some "Candy Shop" verses into them. Those were his lead singles! Fucking horrible move. Meanwhile Kanye West was dropping gems like Stronger and Can't Tell Me Nothing like one dude said.

If 50 had released Ayo Technology and I Get Money as his lead singles, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now. The science behind a "single" is so underrated.

after the loss to Kanye i think people started to look at 50 cent as a gimmick instead of a credible rapper, not to mention the beef with Cam and Ross who at the time were putting out better music (Ross) and making 50 look like a joke (Cam)

Yea better music, that's just crawling to go GOLD.

You know and i know, his music is mostly trunk music. He's been doing the same shh1t since day one,but y'all give him a pass.

Somebody else does it and its he need to grow as a artist and put substance in his music lol.

And the stuff with Kanye, was just so sell records for both parties.

or this:

to me it doesn't matter if he barely gold the music speaks for itself

Ya both parties agreed duh. But I bet 50 Cent thought he would torch Yeezy. At the time, 50 was the biggest thing in hip hop.
