Bans

1. Overt racism or sabotaging (if cats from another site try and sabotage the IC)

2. Spambots & Spam threads - if it's a known poster the first time will warrant a warning, (which ever level I leave in the hands and judgement of you guys) the 2nd time a ban but zero tolerance for spam bots)

3. People trying to hack the site, if we have advanced knowledge of it, we should clip them OR bring the matter to all the mods

4. Severe harassment, for ex. if Kat makes a thread and a nigga goes in there and goes out of their way to disparage the poster, harassing them to the point where they gotta worry about their actual security (the possibility of being hacked) then they deserve the axe. HOWEVER, I don't believe that "trolling" if it hurts someone's feelings or a disagreement in opinion should warrant a ban (and if a mod dare ban or "punish" a poster out of personal spite then that mod should be dealt accordingly....)

5. Openly posted nudity that is distasteful or depicts homosexuality, beastiality, transexuality, children, rape or anything extremely derogative.

6. Links to retail/illegally downloaded movies posted in threads (not sure if we should have the same rule for retail albums tho cuz nowadays it seems rappers are just giving away their albums for free *shrugs*)

7. I guess rule #7 should be an automatic ban if we find out JG/Ducky create aliases and post *shrugs*

^^

That's all I could think of for now, feel free to add on.....

Yo one more thing, I think we should make it a point tho (if it becomes acceptable) to try and get posters who do post nudity say in Ill Pix, using the spoiler code and it must not conflict with rule #5.

There should also be a list of consequences for mods too.....

@sion.

so then will a vote be needed on all those points? Also your MOD Punishment idea should not be applied to one rule but all if this is the agreed upon list for admin. It seems hypocritical to only apply it to one point on the list when Mods have been guilty of ignoring kats like Ducky/OTT or harrassment of posters or Nudity or overt racism etc.. and even have participated in threads where those things are occurring. If we are supposed to be non biased in punishment we also should not be turning a blind eye because we do not or do like a poster. A lot of broad levels of interpretation of abuse if we only have Mod punishments for 1 area of concern and not all agreed upon rules...

Well as Thulsa stated in the thread title I believe the list is for offences that should carry a zero tolerance rule unless where stated. As for Mod punishment idea, feel free to come up with a list of stuff, that'd be dope. I'd suggest that if a mod abuses their power there should be consequences, I think it's fair that mods be punished if they abuse their powers just as posters can be if they mess up *shrugs* . It's incredibly unfair to posters who end up on the receiving end, and there are mods who have done this. Consequences for mods would apply to EVERY MOD if they break the rules and in spite of recent events it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.

I'm really not for the BS @ the bolded, this is not grade school where we point the finger cuz Timmy stole a cookie too 6 months ago and didn't get caught. I don't care who started it or what so and so did, if a mod abuses their powers for personal gain in a means to disrespect, humiliate or out of personal disagreement then there should be consequences. I doubt this will be a popular idea but perhaps it's gotten to that point.
@sion.

all of your points though are in the past tense as this is a new system that has just been implemented and all actions reffered to even in both of our points are in the recent past not months but weeks fam. If we are applying a spectrum consequences I am saying it should be applied for all things not just some based on the fact it is in discussion because all these things have recently occurred.

Whether it is kats feeling a punishment is personal, turning a blind eye to already known rule infractions based on like or dislike of posters involved or fear, editing or deleting posts, extensive personal attacks etc... A lot of propaganda has been used and some of us are vocal others are silent. I maybe speaking in the minority or I could be the voice of a silent majority hard to say as fear has been a point of concern especially given the way information from this room keeps getting out whether from a compromised account or a spitefull Mod.

I get everyone wants to be liked to some extent but when doing big things like this we need to put that whole e-popularity contest shit to the side and be real about things, hell walk a mile in the moccasins of the poster or fellow mods before we start addressing things and then not be hypocrits in out ideas or actions. The idea is to make the illcommunity a better place and keep it a float because we all love what the site represents to HipHop culture not to derail shit and make rule enforcement a popularity contest...

Really? We just brainstorming, why you still soap boxing? Good god man, you said you'd let it go if jay cosigned.

Either toss out some ideas or keep it moving, Fuck.

I said let admin decide now I ask questions which are avoided and I am soapboxing alright I get what yall want no opposition no questions huh. The irony given all the accusations and the fact this is about voting and kats do not want me to question the ideas or moves...

Yet you added nothing of value to the thread.

No ideas, just more rhetoric.

You are a professional victim. I'm done with you. Beta male.

I am the victim but you kats are crying about needing to vote, I am the beta but you need to be reassured by your e-buddies before you make a move. Okay I gotcha my questions and points of contention are rhetoric but yall and your vague/jaded rules and consequences are gospel gotcha. The hypocrisy of this shit is amusing to me I simply speak on shit and noone bothers to read they just start the attacks up.

You kats crack me up I have been self employed since the 90's on top of being a fulltime father of 6, working Projects/part time for various telecomunication companies, hustling legally in various things music included and having a very full active private/social life. You kats do not even want to be yourselves and have to create fake e-personas while I rep my same names online as I do in the streets but I am the beta male.

My critiques stand but no answers just spins to take it off topic so let me bring it back and set an example for you scared confused need acceptance kats...

we HAVE to keep this 15 year old boys from attacking the ladies. Peep my thread in the powder room. I know things can get live, but I am saying the ones that you can see continuously abusing the ladies have to be banned. ASAP.

Nudity

Racism

Homophobic Comments on the reg

Attacking members (this includes one member targeting females constantly). This doesn't mean you can't be critical of women, etc etc. I am talking about the overt, constant abuse.
