During that time Birdman was already turning on loyal producers and artists by not paying them. But a grown wayne instread of signing with the roc stayed with his "daddy". Wayne is 100% to blame for his situation. Most artist don't even make it long enough in the game past their 1st major contract.

The C5 singles were super dumb they just didn't have the DNA of previous wayne songs. Plus since about C1 the more Wayne talks about life is a bitch/beat the pussy up/insert other wayne cliche here the more played out and sick fans really got of him.

Isn't Carter 5 supposed to be the last album on his deal? That's probably the real reason it hasn't dropped, lord knows Birdman didn't stop him from releasing Rebirth, and I Am Not A Human Being 1 & 2.

Not sure about that (as far as last album or not), the story has always been that CMR refused to give him the advance $$$ per their agreement. Tez got in depth with it in an interview a year or so ago.
