also, everyone talks about how the upgrades killed the site.. but there have been plenty of classic threads, exposures, etc. since then.

i blame it on reactions. i'd rather scroll through 100 "LOL" posts and "cosign" posts, than have every thread be 2 pages with tons of reaction clicking. actually posting what you think about each post makes the forum seem more alive, drives traffic, creates dialogue, etc.

i still havent clicked a single reaction since its inception here.

I prefer the anonymous, disconnected nature of the IC over Twitter.

I mean on Twitter you more likely to run into someone you know in real life.

Can you imagine an exposure on Twitter?

On the IC, you have to work extra hard to achieve destruction on that scale, but it is doable.

the thing about someone posting what they think instead of reacting, is that, then its actually posted/published for everyone to see, and then possibly react to that person's post. not everyone scrolls through, sees each individual reaction, and posts about it. a lot gets lost in translation with reactions.
