That dunk off shit is so stupid. I mean.. there's only but so many dunks you are going to come up with. By having a dunk off they are going to limit those 2 in the actual competition because they will already expended a decent amount of their dunks to win this stupid 'dunk-off'....

LeBron is not an acrobatic dunker, he's a power dunker, he prolly can do a few things but you put him up against the likes of Iguadala or a young VC or Jason Richardson or young Desmond Mason... and he's outclassed

he will never admit this, but the reason why he won't do it is for a few reasons:
#1-right now everybody already thinks of him as this AMAZING dunker. Now imagine if he got in it and he got exposed. We all know that he is MAD sensitive and that would not be good for him.
#2-It's been proven that although he has dummy hops and is a really good in game dunker, he's really not all that creative. Vince Carter showed us stuff that we hadn't seen before, but I simply don't think Lebron has that kind of imagination to come up with the dunks. If you saw the high school dunk contest he was in, you would not be wowed. He wasn't really that impressive, he just did some standard dunks that go with his crazy hops.
#3-I just think it doesnt interest him anymore. When you combine those first 2 reasons, I think he's fine with NOT doing it and leaving everybody else to wonder how great he would be (for the record, I don't think he'd be anything special, but others do)

Yeah everyone knew Lebron was just speaking out of his neck. About 4-5 years ago he said he was thinking about entering the dunk contest and changed his mind too.
