10 years ago he wouldve been a multi platinum artist..

10 years ago quality MCs like Styles P couldn't even go plat so why would a below average MC like Rick Ross ever go plat. He couldn't even go plat in 2006 with big singles like Hustlin so he was never in any time gonna be a plat seller. He not good enough the people don't check for Rick Ross like dat he Gold at best.

Even with your sig and your avi, it's painfully obvious who you are...

So Life Is Good will go Gold in 2013?

Most probably will by this time next year it will have gone Gold that's 4-5 platinum albums and 4-5 Gold albums under his belt. Can't argue with Nas consistany as a G.O.A.T.

Doesn't look like he will... This album numbers look similar to how T.I.'s No Mercy did, and all Ross's other albums for that matter

But in an earlier era, his background woulda hurt him much more too. Part of his success is people are more willing to just listen to your music and aint caught up on that "keep it real" phase like they used to. For the most part.

It's not like other rappers aint had good production like Rick Ross it's just Rick Ross has probably the best but that's it really he don't have good lyrics, good subject matter, diverse topics it's just his beats that are good i don't think he will ever make a classic

Remember when big debut's were 300,000 the first week, 120,000 the second week, and by third week you were gold, and maybe a few months later you were platinum if you had the strong third single?
