Actually the movie is pretty bad and it IS boring it should have never been made, if anything it should have been a 12-miniseries on HBO or something. The only good things in the flim are Rorshach and Doc. Manhattan. I feel bad for Alan Moore since this price of shit will forever be linked to his masterpiece.

Thought the movie was great, especially in the extended Ultimate cut. Sure it was long but who gives a shit. Wasnt boring at all. Dialogue pretty much intacts. Great effects. My only complaint was Viedt, I think they could have gotten a better actor.

The movie was excellent. If you went to see this expecting explosions and non-stop action, then that's your fault for not knowing anything about the novel. The movie was about the real lives of so called superheros and masked vigilantes over the years. Dr. Manhattan was their actual first SUPERhero. Their personal lives were displayed, their faults and doubts also.

Silk Specter told Owlman that she didn't have any friends outside of the masked heros. That shyt is sad.

Read the book many times. And of course it couldn't go as deep as the book since with you book you can flip a few pages back and reference something that you might connect, and in the book you had newspaper clippings, photos, and all kinds of hidden treasures that you just can not translate into a TV show or a movie. I think the movie did as good a job as could be done. Have you seen the Extended Cut, i get amazed every time I watch it how much was able to be put into that movie, and not crammed in but actually woven into the storyline and executed well. I like most people would have like for them to have the Giant Squid, but hey, I think they did well with the ending.
