I understand where he coming from though.

I think watching it nowadays is different from watching it as it happened.

Watching it as it happened was exciting because you never knew how far they were willing to go and it had a lot of shock value.

This is the truth.

As far as Ruthless Aggression goes it's the only era I ever missed as a fan of the WWE's product for over 25 years. I always tell myself I'm going to finally catch up with it but never do after always seeing nothing but praise for it on the internet especially since a lot of today's IWC got into wrestling through that segment of WWE history.

I just don't have the time anymore to be hunting down 5 plus years worth of RAW and Smackdown episodes on top of more than 12 ppvs per year. Especially when I spend my free time when it comes to watching wrestling catching up with the international scene, the indies and from a historical standpoint the territory days that predate my introduction to wrestling fandom (1987) and the RA era doesn't grab my interest as much as those do. The WWE Network should finally rectify this.

Wrestlers today would kill to get the reactions that low card guys like Crash Holly, Taka and Funaki, and Mideon etc used to get.

whoever says the attitude era is overrated was probably in diapers at the time. the absolute best time to be a fan. u never knew what was goin to happen. every monday was something new. you could not miss a episode of Raw or you would be lost. in terms of pure wrestling, 2000 >>>>> rutheless agression era besides 02-03 smackdown.
