For real, you're not gonna get shot anywhere down there. At least not during the day. But DC doesn't even look like a complete shit hole anymore, Baltimore's WAAAAAAY worse on the real. But uh, if you go up First St. SW(it's off southern ave) and go up around Bald Eagle rec center on Joliet and that entire neighborhood looks like crap. It's a old lady that used to post up there every day hustlin' waters. Shit is mad sad, b. Just check it out. Some parts of NE look fucked up too.

Anywhere between Benning Road and Southern Ave. looks like ass too.

And take pictures :-(

What neighborhoods should I go to to get nice pictures of poverty without getting shot? I need to head out there soon so let me know something DMV people.

lol...in Southeast...go to Barry Farms...lots of poverty around there...or go around Anacostia...all around MLK Blvd...a whole lot of poverty around there...then you got Connor Terrace, Hollywood aka Pill Central, there's lots of places you can go to see poverty...keep in mind Southeast ain't but so big so the majority of these neighborhoods are within walking distance of each other

LOL for the best results......your best bet is to try to run up on somebody and explain exactly what u are doing and explain to them what u want and give them the results..........If you just want pictures of old decripid buildings and shit, you should be ok, people will look at u weird and maybe one or two gonna ask you.....but if you want junkies and fiends or you want to go into buildings or take pictures of the block when shit is wide open, thats what you gonna have to do.........

And you cant just ask anybody, you gotta kinda read a person.......fuckin with the wrong person will get u fucked up.......LOL

D.C./PG county isn't that scary to me...maybe because I'm from here but I feel alright when I'm walking around by myself

the SE part right next to the maryland line isn't even bad...there's 1200 a month condos for rent and shit over there

you must live near the Constitution Ave side of Southeast off Penn. Ave...I grew up on the Suitland Rd...the part that directly connects to Suitland Parkway on one end and Southern Ave on another...there's no 1200 a month condos over here lol...
