werd these niggas are wilin, I read a story about puerto rico becoming a state but did not a agree with the federal and state taxes the continental US would apply to the Island it might hurt the economy because of the wages they make.

To answer Du's questions holidays in PR are great, I never got to spend Christmas there unfortunately but they party like shit the whole month of December into mid January lol. Puertorriquenos also celebrate Three Kings Day or "Dia De Los Reyes". Even though they have warm weather year round, they still decorate with lights and trees. They drink coquito, have elaborate feasts and all the kids play with their new toys on the beach.

They sing La Borinquena everywhere, that is the national anthem. But they hang PR flags AND American flags everywhere too. Most people do not know English there to be honest but a majority speak at least a bit of broken English and pretty much everyone in the tourist area of San Juan (the capital) can speak good English.

And PR is still the rum capital of the world last time I checked, but most people in PR tend to drink Don Q and other rums rather than Bacardi.

PR is considered exotic because it's a Caribbean island with a diverse population mixed with Spaniard, native Taino and/or African slave blood. Many people go there and are surprised that most people don't look like they had expected them to, everyone just looks different and diverse. It's a very beautiful and fun place to visit, I recommend everyone experience it one day.
