hell no. and you could see that baby didn't really know who is dad was, or had no real connection. and dad was laying on the bed, just like a baby himself.... i don't know. i just thought it was funny. especially after he was talking about that other murder early in the movie and was like, "oh its just another day in the hood. aint no thang" like he was used to it. wonder how he reacted when Toshiba got got

they captured not only the ignorance and self-destruction, but also the vulnerability and disappear of that street shit...

the way it was shot was brilliant... it reminds me of them Brazil flicks... ultra-realism... I think most people will miss the thoughtfulness because how ignorant and raw it is...

Yeah, it was crazy how he was so quick to go after the other guy's baby mama as if it was just a natural thing. I don't see how he didn't think it was coming back to him the same way.

it seems like that shit aint being pushed AT ALL.....i dont ever see nuthin about it online.....i just found it on accident when i saw it, and that was months ago.....i just knew that shit was gone be a hot topic in the hood, but even people i know aint seen it....*shrugs*

yea, it isnt getting that much publicity.

I saw Michael Williams in a power105 interview talking about, thats the first and only place (besides this thread) i've heard about it.

but the thing is, it's been in the most popular listing on netflix for about a week now so ppl are watching it.

yeah i think they kinda expected everybody to bootleg the shit.....might be laying ground for some more shit like this to come.....i think its like a new standard for hood movies

they said a fight broke out at one of the viewings.

its not really a movie that should be getting any real press, maybe better for it to just be "underground" and accumulate a following. but i'm sure alot of people have been seeing it on netflix recently.

but i'm pretty sure it would be a disaster if it ever was released into theaters.

nah it aint for no theaters.....i didnt expect that.... i thought the hip hop sites would give more recognition but i guess them niggas aint paying lol....w.o.m is the way of the street so it fits....

Good shit is all I can say, based on my 6 short years living in Georgia this shit captures it's hoods perfectly. I went on Wiki to get some info about the movie and saw this...

An attempt on Curtis Snow's life occurred in December 2011. He survived a grisly box-cutter knife attack. [6]

A melee broke out at the film's showing at the Atlanta Film Festival, as some audience members were unsure of the authenticity of a scene in which a child puts his hands into a pile of crack cocaine with a razor blade in it.

As a result of officers seeing a part of the movie, the Atlanta Police Department contacted the filmmakers in connection with an investigation into a string of home invasions.[7]
