Good Album. Grade (in my opinion): C+ (comparing to his previous albums). But I'll give it a B- compared to 90 percent of garbage played on mainstream radio today.

His best album in 10 years

You ain't lying I gave this a run last night before I went to bed and I agree this is one of his best albums since Blue Carpet Treatment. It's just crazy how he dropped so many bad albums after that one. Is this gone be the new trend with Snoop he only put out a good album every 10 yrs?

After listening to it......

It's same old Snoop. Y'all gassing it up like he caught a second wind. Y'all just been sleep since Doggystyle.

Better than blue carpet treatment?

Yes

You might want to slow down on that... I'll say it's right on par with Blue Carpet Treatment but better than I think time should tell that one.

Fair.

I wouldn't say that, just a good album.

Nah we all know Snoop been declined with the albums he's put out since Blue Carpet Treatment. I was just saying I'm surprised he put out a good album worth listening to. Over the last 10 yrs, besides BCT album Snoop has put out nothing but trash Ego Trippin & Malice n Wondaland is the worst albums he put out.

Don't really see the hype around it. It's okay, on the same level as Doggumentary which was his last real rap album.

But you got to give Snoops props, because he never made a bad album.

I know he likes to experiment and work with different producers and artist, but I'll say it again ... if we want to see an album on the same level as Doggystyle, he needs Dr.Dre to work with him. Even though Dre doesn't do a lot of producing these days (and just goes to studio sessions and bobs his head to beats) - he can still serve as the main executive producer and tell him what sounds dope and mediocre.

Snoop is a household name and a legend and one of the few people who will not be a "yes-man" is Dre.

I just listened it to you a damn lie.....it's a decent album tho

We'll have to agree to disagree then. I dnt think there's anything special with the BCT outside of the Dre tracks and I own it.

Snoop cant win anymore musically he already reached further in his career than 99% of rappers ever will. He been the to the pinnacle already. He got classics he got albums with dre he got albums with pharrell he been on tracks with damn near everybody in the game.

Theres nothing left for him to prove niggas want him make an album with dre it aint 94 these niggas are grandfathers now.

Same niggas waiting for that 3 stacks album just let it go man

We all know snoop is winning and I said Snoop never made a bad album. But a lot of people would like to hear the magic from the first Doggystyle. I heard that when he was on Dre's "2001" and a little bit on "Compton." It's obvious his lyrics and music is better.

Snoop has made some classic songs, don't get me wrong. But I thought the whole point was to make albums better than the last. A perfect example of someone stepping it up on each project is Kendrick Lamar.

Section 80

So you saying he's better now than he was in the Death Row days???

Still not getting the hype, it's okay but all these are better Snoop albums:

Doggystyle

No Limit Top Dogg

Tha Last Meal

Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$

R&G: Rhythm & Gangsta - Tha Masterpiece

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment
