I think even if Slaughter house's last album came out in the early 2000's like Dipset and Obie did... that last album woulda sold more. I know more people that pirate music routinely than by albums. Nobody bought Obie's bottom's up album a few years ago and nigga raps exacly the same with similiar subject matter. It's not that nobody fucks with them, it's just that Albums dont really move like they use to.

Ok but lemme ask you this? you like Slaughterhouse cos your personal taste in rap maybe not ya only taste but this what you like a cypher based rap style where substance isn't important, neither is incoperating hooks or lyrics where you entertained say you can dance to the song. You find it entertaining cos the way they make a word rhyme even if there is no depth just them doing what they do you like nuffin wrong with that.

But why it always gotta be hating if a person genuinley doesn't find that style appealing? before you say they have tracks where do rap bout somethin i know this but some people also wanna hear a good hook and flow to compliment what they saying.

The reason a lotta people make jokes if they don't sell is cos you guys act snobby to people who don't like their music for nothing but just it not appealing.

Same way i remember you calling Eminem emo but you like 2pac yet he also known for emotion both them rapped about a lotta similar shit, both used emotion both personal i just think Em made it more catchy at the same time while Pac was more for a select audiance. We all can be contradicting when we want. Same reason you don't like Eminem;s emotionally driven music is a 1 of the factor in why i like it so really as listeners we all have diffrent tastes in music.

I just saw the matter in a opposite light than you. I felt like people on my side that like rhmyes they remind have the right to not get hated on for our taste.I've folowed all four guys underground careers and I was glad when they got together because in this day in age of Rappers that cant actually put ill lines together bein the majority ,I find their level of raw ness refreshing. I think there is a certain level of conscousness that you have to take your mind to just to conjure up the kinda similiess and metaphors they come up with that the average person can't do and it's a talent in it'self as well as bein able to sing or dance. I find it funny that you say their rhymes have no depth when often the wordplay they use have multiple meanings. Ive excepted them for the type of group they are and their strenght is what i look for with them, not making joints that aint true to what they represent.

As far as Eminiem I just thought he was better at the funny shit than the Heartfelt tupac shit, that's all. If Pac was better at the funny shit then I woulda said the same thing about him.

Well said. As a fan of Slaughter House I hope they sell well, but if they don't I know I will be more then happy with what they put out. They are helping to bring skill and wittiness to the forefront of hip hop. How can you be mad at a group doing that to the art form. It's one thing to not like them because of personal taste, but there's no need to repeat over and over again how much you don't like an artist or a group.
