It should be based on talent but I really hope they actually construct quality songs rather than spit a whole bunch of hot shit over a beat. Dope but it's funny how nobody complains about how it was pre-written. Not really sure about Royce's freestyle but still. That's what i've been tellin' y'all there's 2 different meanings to freestylin' but it's still freestylin'.
Also this is problem with guys like this, they can freestyle well but can they really do dope songs (doesn't have to be a party song btw)? Just songs with content, lyrics that paints a picture of whatever it is they're trying to get across, flow and just overall song structure that you can jam while you out and and about. What happens with guys like this is that they mostly drop hot lyrics but the rest is mediocre or garbage so you almost have to sit there and really listen to every single word they're sayin', which is cool, but it's still music at the end of the day too and you cant leave the audience feelin' like they in a library studyin' for a test.

Yeah and i had that in mind when i wrote that post but on the flipside he comes of as boring to alot of people and he's probably the weakest link in that group lyrically so i guess it's a trade off. Not saying he's wack btw cuz he's very talented.
